All 3500 Athletes and 800 volunteers were prepared to battle the 35 degree humidex on Day 1 of the 2018 Ontario summer games. Here are some photos of the day’s great events:
Fanshawe Conservation Area held the Canoe Kayak events, Womens 1000m Finals:
Girls U16 Softball played at Stronach community centre, Brampton beats Guelph
North Mississauga G15 (Black) tied Whitby Iroquois G15 (white) 0-0. It was a close finish as Whitby had a penalty shot in the last seconds of the game that went wide.
Beach Volleyball taking place at the North London Fields with a packed house watching the event. It might be the most popular event with fans in these games.
