A 16-year-old London male has been arrested and charged in relation to stolen property recovered from a break and enter at a residence in June 2018. The private residence was located in the area of Richmond and Victoria streets, and was broken into while the occupants were away. A number of items were stolen, including a firearm.
On July 10th, police received information about a youth who was in possession of the stolen goods.
Some of the property was located and a 16-year-old male has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The firearm was later found at another location.
The London Police Street Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
The accused is expected to appear in court today in relation to the charge.
