London Man Arrested, $16K Worth of Fentanyl Found

London Police arrested a London man after a police raid netted more than $16,000 worth of fentanyl powder.

A 32-year-old London man is facing multiple drug charges after police raided a house on Wilson Avenue, located in the Blackfriars neighbourhood. The raid took place Tuesday, and netted officers some $16,250 worth of the deadly fentanyl powder.

According to investigators, a number of items were seized:

41.3 g of fentanyl powder, which police estimate has a street value of $16,520
0.2 g of methamphetamine, which police estimate has a street value of $20
47 g of marijuana, which police estimate has a street value of $470
$2,205 in cash
two digital weigh scales
three cellular phones

Investigators have charged the man with drug possession and drug trafficking charges.

He appeared in a London court yesterday.
