Police Identify Homicide Victim, Trying To Identify White Vehicle

The London Police are continuing to investigate the homicide which occurred early Saturday morning. The victim has been identified as Dereck Szaflarski, 27 years old, of London.

Investigators have learned that the victim and a man were involved in a physical altercation near the corner of Richmond Street and Piccadilly Street, during which time the victim sustained serious injuries which resulted in his death. A weapon was not recovered.

The suspect is described as dark-skinned and heavy set, and fled the scene in a white, two door vehicle believed to be a Nissan Altima.

Police are appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information about this vehicle or the identity of this male.
