Police Investigate Daytime Shooting At Tim Horton’s On Dundas Street East

A man is in hospital in life-threatening condition after a shooting at a Tim Horton’s in the east end of the city.

At approximately 2:30 pm, a 9-1-1 call was received in relation to a man who had suffered what was believed to be a gunshot wound. Police and EMS attended the business at 2094 Dundas Street East, located the male victim and transported him to hospital where he currently remains.

A vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was located nearby. Investigators believe the shooting was not a random incident.

No firearm was recovered and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

No other information has been released.

This is the second shooting on Dundas Street East in the last two weeks.
