Police Lay Charges In Richmond Street Assault

Daniel Ryan Taylor, 23, of Southwold ON, has been charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Monday, April 16, 2018, at a licenced establishment located at 700 Richmond Street.

At approximately 2 am, a 21-year-old male was in the licenced establishment and was involved in an interaction with Taylor. When he was asked to leave, the victim proceeded to walk out of the bar.

Upon leaving, an altercation occurred between the accused and the patron, resulting in the patron being transported to hospital where he was treated for serious, but not life threatening injuries.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for taylor, who turned himself into London Police Headquarters Thurdsay night.

Taylor was released and is expected to appear in London Court on May 31, 2018, in relation to the charge.
