Police Still Looking For Help In Old South Homicide

The London Police are continuing to investigate the homicide of William MacPherson this past weekend. His body was discovered on Friday in the area of Wortley Road and Stanley Street, near the Thames River.

A search of the scene was completed yesterday and the scene has been released.

Investigators have already made an appeal to the public for information about Mr. MacPherson’s activities and movements during the week of August 6, 2018, but have now narrowed their timeframe of interest to the period between the morning of Thursday, August 9th to the next evening at 7:45pm.

MacPherson was seen Thursday just before noon walking westbound on Bathurst Street from Richmond Street, wearing blue shorts and a blue shirt. Investigators are asking members of the public for any information about his activities, whereabouts, and who he was with from that time forward.

Anyone who has seen him or has information about his movements and whereabouts within that time frame, or has any information about his death is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
