London Police Service continue to investigate a shooting that took place in the area of Huron and Sandford streets this past Tuesday evening. Officers attended the location and found a man who had been shot. The victim was transported to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. A weapon has not been recovered, and investigators believe that the shooting does not appear to be random.
The investigation has revealed that two men entered a residence in the area, while a third male attended with a firearm in his possession. A brief altercation took place, during which the firearm was discharged and the victim was struck.
The three males fled the scene in a bluish-silver four-door vehicle, believed to be a Honda. The suspects are described as follows:
Male, Black, tall, in his 20’s, with facial hair.
Male, Black, braids in his hair, thin, shorter than the first male, dressed in black. He also had tattoos on one of his forearms.
Male, Black, shorter than the other two suspects, with a tattoo of a tear drop and a scar near his left eye. This male was in possession of the firearm.
Investigators are trying to identify and locate these three males.
