From the City of London:
On Tuesday, May 8, Ridout Street North between York Street and Bathurst Street will be closed to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians for a required rail repair at the tracks. Ridout Street, from Horton Street to Bathurst Street, will be open to local traffic only.
In an effort to minimize the impact for commuters, work is scheduled to begin after 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed before 5 p.m.
Welding operations will be underway at the tracks, so pedestrians are encouraged to temporarily avoid the area. Businesses will remain open during construction. Local traffic can get to Copp’s Buildall and other properties between York Street and the crossing.
Detour routes will be clearly signed.
