Starting Monday at approximately 7:00 a.m., an additional section of York Street, half a block east of Ridout Street, will be closed to motorists and cyclists. The Ridout Street intersection at York will remain open for north/south traffic until further notice.
Westbound traffic on York Street can still access the Renaissance II parking garage and nearby York Street businesses. Every effort will be made to maintain pedestrian travel through the work area.
The road closure marks the beginning of the second phase of the York Street Core Infrastructure Renewal project which will improve the quality of the water and the health of the Thames River.
