The London Police Service is investigating a report of a man handing out candy to children at a school on Grey Street.
Police received information that at approximately 11 am yesterday, June 20, 2018, a man sat outside the fence of an elementary school and offered children candy. A number of children took the candy from the man, some of them eating what was provided to them.
When staff at the school were made aware of the incident, the police were called.
The man is described as Caucasian, between 35-50 years of age, with a black trimmed beard. He was wearing a grey and red toque and a yellow rain jacket, and was last seen riding a bicycle.
Police would like to take this opportunity to remind parents and guardians to talk to their children about personal safety.
