Talbot Closed From Kent Street to Fullarton Street For Three Months Starting Monday

Starting on Monday as early as 7:00 a.m., Talbot Street will be closed to motorists and cyclists from Kent Street to Fullarton Street, for up to three months. The Dufferin Street intersection will remain open until further notice.

East and westbound traffic will be able to get through Kent Street and Fullarton Street intersections, but expect delays for the duration of the project.

Every effort will be made to maintain pedestrian travel through the work area, and access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.

The road closure marks the beginning of the Talbot Street reconstruction project which will improve the quality and reliability of the water systems and road infrastructure for residents both in and outside of the core.

Alternate Routes:

Northbound through-traffic: Richmond Street (lane reductions remain in effect)
Southbound through-traffic: Ridout Street
