Two Men Facing Multiple Charges Following Gun Shot Incident

Yesterday, London Police charged two men in relation to a shot fired on Ernest Avenue over the weekend.

Police responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a suspicious noise believed to be a gun shot on late Saturday evening. When officers arrived on-scene, they discovered that a bullet had been fired through the door of an apartment at that location. The apartment was not occupied at the time.

As a result of the investigation, London Police have laid the following Criminal Code of Canada charges:

Cody M. Leblanc Ashe, 21, of London, is charged with:

Possess firearm other than restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence;
Discharge firearm into a place/reckless to others;
Mischief not exceeding $5000;
Carry concealed weapon;
Possess firearm while prohibited; and
Breach of probation.

Tyler Gibson, 20, of Komoka, is charged with:

Possess firearm other than restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence;
Discharge firearm into a place/reckless to others;
Mischief not exceeding $5000; and
Possess firearm while prohibited.

Both men are scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
