The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) put out their annual “worst roads” list on Monday, to “highlight” the top 10 worst roads in Ontario. Drivers could go online to the CAA website and vote for what they consider the worst roads in their region. No roads in London made the province-wide Ontario list, but the city did get a fair amount of attention in the Western Ontario list.
The Western Ontario list included London, Brant, Huron, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford, Perth County, the Waterloo Region and others, and three of the top 5 were in London:
- Ontario 6, Caledonia
- Plank Road, Hagersville
- Oxford Street East, London
- Dundas Street, London
- Wonderland Road South, London
For the Chatham-Kent, Essex County and Lambton County areas, the top five worst roads were:
- Highway 401, Chatham-Kent
- Seminole Street, Windsor
- Plank Road, Sarnia
- Huron Church Road, Windsor
- Tecumseh Road East, Windsor
The top 10 worst roads in Ontario were:
