Bryan Akinkugbe will be with The London Lightning again for the 2018-2019 NBL Canada Season. The Lightning announced the signing on Wednesday.
Akinkugbe played with the Lightning last year as an NBL rookie, but he was released near the end of the season to pursue a playing opportunity in Mexico.
The 6-9, 225-pound Power Forward is a native of Bowie, Maryland and played college ball at North Carolina A&T after transferring from Columbia State Community College.
“I’m excited to come back,” Akinkugbe said. “London is an amazing city, the team is an amazing organization and I’m excited to show that I can play at this level and help bring another championship title to the city.”
