Starting today, Main Street in Lambeth between Colonel Talbot Road and Campbell Street, is reduced to a single lane for westbound traffic only. Eastbound traffic will be directed along Beattie Street and Broadway Avenue between Colonel Talbot Road and Campbell Street.
Longwoods Road, from Dingman Creek to Colonel Talbot Road, is also reduced to one westbound lane. Through-traffic should consider Kilbourne Road as an alternative route.
Cyclists and motorists can continue to move north- and southbound on Colonel Talbot Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained from Longwoods Road to Campbell Street North during construction.
Both projects are part of a large sewer and watermain renewal effort.
