Over $90,000 In Drugs Seized In On-Going Break and Enter Investigation

At approximately 6:15am on Sunday, April 29, 2018, the London Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress, at an illegal marihuana dispensary located at 4-691 Richmond Street. The suspect fled the scene, dropping more than $25,000 worth of marihuana in the process.

Members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service, RCMP, and OPP, executed a search warrant at the Richmond Street address.

The following items were seized:

Cannabis resin, 590 grams, value $47,200
THC infused vaporizing oil, 146 vials, value $2,920
THC pills, 191, value $1,910
THC infused body oil: 57 vials, value $1,140
THC infused massage oil, 14 vials, value $280
THC infused bath bombs, 2, value $50
THC infused fudge, 55, value $440
THC infused face mask, 16, value $400
THC infused gummies, 38, value $780
Marihuana shake, 3655 grams, value $200

Total value of drugs seized – $90,650

Total value of cash seized – Approximately $5,000

As a result of the investigation, Albert Laconsay, 22, of Toronto, was charged by way of warrant due to his business interest in the illegal marihuana dispensary, with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking x 3; and Breach.

The investigation into the break and enter is ongoing at this time.
