Sawed-Off Shot Gun Seized, London Man Arrested

Members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service, RCMP, and OPP, executed a search warrant today, at a residence on Gramercy Park Place in London.

The following items were seized:

Loaded Winchester 22 calibre bolt action rifle
12 Gauge bolt action sawed off shot gun
303 rifle
2 rounds of 22 calibre ammunition

As a result of the investigation, 32-year old Steven Tribble, of London, was charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence and registration certificate x 3;
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition x 3;
Possession of a loaded firearm; and
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order x3

The accused is expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
