Slew Of Break-Ins At Off-Campus Student Housing

Series of Break and Enters in area surrounding Western Road

The London Police have received six reports of break and enters in the area of Western Road between May 5th and July 1st of this year. The residences are off-campus student housing.

The incidents occurred during school hours or statutory holiday periods. Homes were entered by smashing windows. The suspects target electronics, cash, credit cards and alcohol, sometimes even drinking the alcohol at the scene.

The London Police Service remind the public to keep doors and windows of your home locked at all times, and to remain vigilant of your surroundings.

Report all suspicious activity to police.

The Crime Analysis Unit of the London Police Service detected this pattern using analytical software purchased using a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
