A large water main rupture caused rust to be released from iron water mains throughout the White Oaks area this afternoon. As a result, residents may notice that their water appears yellow.
Water will continue to be discoloured until the rust has been flushed from the water mains. The rust does not represent a health concern, but may stain laundry.
Crews are currently repairing the water main and expect water to be clear some time this evening.
