Man In Custody After Marconi Boulevard Stand-Off Ends Peacefully

A lengthy standoff on Marconi Boulevard ended early this morning with London Police taking a man into custody. Police were originally called to the townhouse complex near Clarke Road and Trafalgar around 11pm last night in relation to a barricaded suspect.

Due to the nature of the call, police resources including the Emergency Response Unit, K9, and negotiators were on scene at the residence. As the situation unfolded, police utilized distraction devices to assist in the arrest of the suspect.

The situation was resolved peacefully at approximately 7:00am this morning.

A 19-year-old male from London is currently in police custody pending charges.

The residence is still being guarded by police due to the ongoing investigation.
