Zachary McDermott Arrested

At approximately 11 am today, September 21, 2018, Zachary McDermott turned himself in to police at LPS Headquarters.

A warrant was issued last week for the 18-year-old London man for the shooting at Tim Horton’s, that resulted in the death of Christopher Clements-Card.

McDermott is charged with first-degree murder and attempt murder by discharging a firearm.

The firearm has not been recovered.

Clements-Card, 21, was wounded during a shooting at the Dundas Street location and later died in hospital. McDermott and two other males fled in a silver four-door sedan which was later located nearby.

McDermott is expected to make a court appearance later this afternoon in relation to his charges.
